Leadership

I grew-up in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I became a believer and a
follower of the Lord Jesus Christ at age 18 while I was a student at
Millersville University. After completing my BS in Education (being dually
certified in Elementary Education and Special Education), the Lord led me
to serve Him in Lima, Peru, as a teacher in a missionary school for two
years. While in Peru, I met Dianna Staal (from Michigan) whom I married
in 1981! I finished my theological studies at Grand Rapids Baptist
Seminary in 1985. I had the privilege of serving the Lord as an associate
pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Millersville for two and one-half years
prior to being called to pastor Faith Baptist Church of State College. It is
with great joy that I have had the privilege of pastoring such a wonderful
church family so proximate to Penn State University. My favorite verse is
Psalm 63:7-8. Some of my favorite things are: taking walks with Dianna,
spending time with my family, reading biographies, playing music with
friends, and watching Eagles football.
